Autobiography

Since I'm not technically a college grad until I finish my last two GE classes on-line, I've casually gotten started on one of them (English 314) cuz I FREAKING WANT TO GET THEM OVER AND DONE WITH!  Anyway, I had to write an autobiography for my first assignment and it turned out to be kind of fun.  If you'd like to get to know me just a little better read away :-).

Ms. Morgan Lee

Ms. Morgan Lee once wished she were called Christina, like her favorite blond “Barbie,” but now she loves that she’s called Morgan.  It fits her brown curly hair, freckled nose, and true blue eyes splendidly.  Morgan means, “born by the sea;” and, well, it’s true.  She was born in Mission Viejo, California and basked in the sun of southern Californian childhood.  The “bright sea” (another meaning for the name Morgan) beckoned her to love it, and love it she did and does: in addition to the salty air, deliciously warm sun, and over all splendor of her birthplace.  She has been spoiled rotten by her origins and now anything below 70 degrees Fahrenheit is much too cold for our little lady.
Kent Lee Robertson is the name of her fine father. Kent Lee is the third child of his father and mother.  His siblings refer to him as “the favorite.”  He has strong arms and legs, a cute nose, and crooked teeth.  He used to ask his kids if they wanted him to get braces.  They’d say, “yah, Dad you should really do it” and then he’d say, “but then I’d look smokin’ hot and all the other ladies would want me.  It’d make your mother jealous!”  Morgan thinks it’s true, she’s glad he never got them.  One time he pushed the car into the garage with his own strength.  From that moment on Morgan thought he was the strongest man in the world.  Morgan doesn’t have a single memory of her father raising his voice or showing any sign of quick temperedness.  He has a calm, subdued demeanor with a quick smile, a twinkle in his eye, and a warm heart.  However, he has Scottish origins, as his surname implies, and for this Morgan suffered.  Well, maybe suffered is too strong of a word, but Scotts are famed for their frugality; for Morgan, this meant no soda pop except for on special occasions, work before play, and many a tantrum over un-granted wishes.  Little did she know that she would later admire Kent Lee for the discipline he’d taught her.
Tania Nicole Martin Robertson is the name of Morgan’s fine mother.  Tania Nicole is the second child (New Zealand born) of her father and mother.  Her siblings refer to her as “the domestic goddess.”  She is slender, has beautiful curly dark brown hair, a freckled nose, and big straight teeth.  She’s lovely.  Morgan has always thought her mother was just lovely from head to toe.  Sometimes when her kids would say, “I’m bored and there’s no one to play with” she’d say, “I’ll play with you.”  One time she hit her hand really hard with the hammer and started crying, Morgan started crying too.  She didn’t like to see her lovely mother sad.  Morgan’s mom is spicy!  She’s probably one of the most energetic persons to be born to the earth.  She is up at the crack of dawn and to bed minutes before dawn; which, as you can imagine, doesn’t equate to much sleep.  She has to try really hard not to be overbearing because she loves her kids so much.  She also succeeds at not being overbearing, also because she loves her kids so much.  Morgan loves Tania Nicole and thinks of her as the epitome of a first-rate mum.
Morgan Lee is the first born of Kent and Tania Robertson.  She is the oldest of six.  Her siblings refer to her as “Mo Mo.”  She is average size, gets her curly hair from her mom, has a freckled nose, and artificially straightened teeth; although her left front tooth is slightly longer than the right.  She was the only daughter until 3 years ago, when her parents adopted her sassy little sis Laura.  It’s too bad they waited to gift her with a sister until she was already grown-up and moved on.  It’s hard being the oldest.  You see, all her siblings, save one brother on a mission, are still at home.  She feels like her 4 brothers and 1 little sis are growing up without her in their memories!  This hurts her heart to think about.  So, she sends all sorts of goofy older sister cards and gifts to make sure her little siblings remember her.
Morgan met Alex Manuel Osborne in April 2007.  They were engaged at Machu Picchu, Peru in April 2008.  They were married end of June 2008.  They spent the summer of 2009 backpacking South East Asia.  They moved to Australia in April 2010.  All the while they were finishing up school, working part-time jobs, and shaping their life goals and future aspirations.  Talk about adventure eccentrics.
As mentioned above, Alex Manuel Osborne is the name of Morgan's fine husband.  Alex Manuel is the second child of his father and mother.  His siblings refer to him as “Bishop Al.”  He got his middle name from his grandpa Manuel; who got his name from his mother, who got it from the label on a cigar box.  He is slim with broad shoulders and small teeth.  He has a spectacular smile.  He also has a dimple on his left cheek; Morgan thinks it’s just the bee’s-knees.  He frequently says, “boom bam” and it makes Morgan smile.  One time, when Alex and Morgan had only been dating a little while, he tried to give Morgan a kiss but instead tripped and fell flat on his back; this makes Morgan laugh when she thinks about it.  Alex is full of energy, fun loving, and his ultra-positivism is almost uncanny.  His priorities are first to make Morgan happy, second to do good in the world, and third to make every day a party.  Morgan loves every single thing about Alex Manuel Osborne and is thrilled to get to spend every day at his side.
Now, Morgan and her husband live in Canberra, Australia where her husband is attending graduate school in International Relations and where she is working as the “sugar mama".
Morgan studied Environmental Science with a Spanish minor; she is excited to start working in her field.  Her hobby is painting and drawing among other things.  She loves nature, culture, and art: but mostly she loves Alex.
Morgan feels like the people that she loves the most have been the ones to shape her; consequently, by understanding them, she is best understood. Fin.
