So I was wondering how in the world to thank my exceptionally generous aunt and uncle who've been housing me for the last 10 weeks. Since they wouldn't accept "rent", or student labor, or gift cards, or a meal out, or anything of that nature- I decided to bring a bit of spring inside for their continual enjoyment. Well, continual being more like a few weeks but I hope these flowers take on super-flower strength and last a little longer because they're oh so pretty. Anyway, it took me back to my Flower Basket Boutique days and I remembered how much I loved holding the flowers, washing the greens, cutting the stems, smelling the freshness- it's sort of what I imagine breathing sunshine would be like if it were possible. This arrangement was particularly fun because I don't think I ever made an arrangement with so many flowers, even when I was working at the Flower Basket. I didn't calculate it exactly but if I'd purchased this arrangement it would've been about $300 or so from the shop I worked at. You'd be AMAZED at how much you can cut the cost by arranging it yourself; some where in the order of 90% off :-)! Yipee!
those are gorgeous! You have some mad skills
