Halloween, among other things, is not commonly observed in this nation. Which is unfortunate and ironic considering it is one of the more godless holidays on the Christian calendar. I any case, Alex and I have decided to participate despite- but with a little auzzie flair (we made kangaroo and crocodile skeletons for decoration).
We are hopeful that our skeleton type depictions won't be considered hate crimes against iconic aussie animals.
It's fun to get in the spirit of things, even if no one else seems to care and we are entering spring instead of fall.
Long live Halloween, one of the most awesome and bizarre holidays around.
there are no words to describe your awesomeness. idea stolen, check. bc surprisingly, halloween isn't too big here, either ; )
ReplyDeleteHahaa! Cute! That is totally weird that it's spring over there right now, and that they don't celebrate Halloween. Props to you guys for making life fun.
