Canberra to Provo

It's really happened!  Alex flew to Canberra Saturday, his travels went perfectly.  He's been staying with a wonderful family named the McKeens.  They've been so wonderful and so generous.  The housing search continues although we've got some great leads that will hopefully work out.  The city is absoloodly amazing- he says it feels like a giant park, everything is either green or blue; blue sky, green earth, blue lake.  International student orientation has been awesome and he's met people from all over; every asian country you can think of, India, Finland, Mexico, Costa Rica, and one person from the U.S.!

Things are good on my end, Provo has been so so so beautiful this week.  Tuesday I turned 22!!! Woot woot- and had the best birthday ever (minus the fact that Alex wasn't a part of it)!  Leah and I went to see Jack's Mannequin and Fun at In the Venue.  They were AMAZING!  Awesome awesome energy.  And my family comes out today, hooray!
